Selection is the process of finding out the most suitable candidate to the job out of the candidates recruited.

Job Analysis: Job Analysis is the basis for selecting the right candidate.
Recruitment: Recruitment refers to the process of searching for prospective employees and stimulating them to apply for jobs in an organisation.

Interview: The interviewer matches the information obtained about the candidate through various means to the job requirements and to the information obtained through his own observation during interview.
Selection: The interviewer has to make the final decision whether to select or reject a candidate after soliciting the required information through different techniques.
Medical Examination: Medical examination is conducted to assess the candidate whether he/she is fit for the job or not.
Reference Checks: Reference checks are used to gather a useful and reliable information about the candiate to the organization.
Employment: After the candidate is selected, the employer sends the appointment letter to the successful candidate. The candidate who accept the conditions of employment of the organiztion report for duty.
